A FAMILY TRADITION
Tacos La Carreta began with a simple dream: to share the authentic flavors of Mazatlán with Southern California. Our founder, inspired by generations of family recipes and the vibrant street food culture of Mexico, started with a single food truck in Long Beach in 2015.
Every taco we serve is made with the same care and attention that our family has used for decades. We source the freshest ingredients, marinate our meats using traditional methods, and hand-make our salsas daily. Our commitment to authenticity has earned us recognition from the LA Times and, more importantly, the loyalty of thousands of customers.
Today, we operate four food trucks across Southern California, but our mission remains the same: to serve delicious, authentic Mexican food that brings people together and reminds them of home.
OUR JOURNEY
The Beginning
Opened our first food truck in Long Beach, serving authentic Mazatlecos-style tacos to the community.
Expansion
Added Whittier location due to overwhelming demand and customer support.
Growing Family
Opened Santa Ana and Riverside locations, bringing our tacos to more communities.
